Chicago Gangland
This game was originally written for SkyLine BBS by myself and now that
I am a MEBBSNet SysOp it is only right to port it on over....
The set up for Gangland is basic. List Chicago Gangland in your menu,
place the file Chicago and the directory Gangland in a directory called
Chicago in Doors: and place CGMaint anywhere you please. Enter into your
daily events the line "<path>/CGMaint -m" to perform daily maintenance.
Additionally, you can add a -t switch with a number to change the amount
of turns each user will get for the following day. This would be in the
form: "<path>/CGMaint -m -t30". In this case each user would get 30 turns
on the following day instead of 20. Ensure there are no spaces in between
the -t and the number. Typing at a CLI prompt "<path>/CGMaint -r" will
initially start the game and will also reset the game if you feel it is
time to do so. Now you are all set. If you have any suggestions (shorter
structure or even faster) or bug reports I am currently stationed in Okinawa
(good ole military moves) so the phone bill would probably be excessive,
the best way (read: cheapest) is probably to leave comments in the MEBBS
Fido echo (if allowed) or through SnailMail. My Fido address is 6:733/3.
To reset Chicago Gangland just type "<path>/CGMaint -r"
